On June 7, 2024, a five-hour seminar was held with BrSE/PM and the sales department, featuring Solashi Japan CEO Mr. Shimazoe, Solashi Vietnam CEO Mr. Hoang Dang Lam, and Japanese PM Mr. Masuda.
Section ①:
- Establishing an open communication environment and sharing knowledge about tacit and explicit knowledge based on the SECI model
- Enhancing communication skills with customers in projects and sales
In this section, Mr. Shimazoe, CEO of Solashi Japan, gave a presentation on the SECI model. This model explains four transformation forms of tacit knowledge (experience) and explicit knowledge (what is learned through documentation). To improve the skills and knowledge of Solashi members, regular seminars and workshops must be held so that all members can share their tacit knowledge. This allows members to enhance their knowledge in a simpler way and apply it immediately to their work.
Additionally, Mr. Shimazoe shared flexible communication methods with customers.
Section ②:
- Solashi's mission and vision
- Sharing Solashi's core values
- Solashi's development plan from 2025 to 2030
During the seminar, Mr. Hoang Dang Lam, CEO of Solashi Vietnam, shared the goal of becoming a trusted IT company for customers and partners. Additionally, Solashi aims to provide a platform where all members can thrive and become one of Vietnam's top 10 IT companies. With the core values of Detail, Responsibility, and Excellence, the management team expects all members to grow together with Solashi and continue to expand further.
Section ③: About Management
Mr. Masuda, a Japanese PM working at Solashi Japan, shared fundamental knowledge about management with all participants. While the content was familiar, his new perspectives and clear explanations helped members find solutions to issues they face, such as task management, risk management, and team member management. Through this presentation, everyone learned about management and the importance of problem analysis to ensure project success.
Section ④: Discussion on the Role of the Contact Person
In this section, participants responded to the question, "What do you think you did well as a contact person?" by sharing various perspectives based on their roles. These opinions were gathered, analyzed, and discussed, allowing participants to reflect on their work and gain a deeper understanding of their responsibilities.
The seminar was conducted in a very relaxed and open atmosphere by Mr. Shimazoe, Mr. Hoang Dang Lam, and the BrSE/PM team. Many questions were raised about communication skills with customers, the values Solashi aims for, how to build relationships like the company slogan "Make Believe," and what managers should do to lead projects to success. This helped participants find ways to improve themselves and their teams.
After the seminar, the BrSE/PM team, along with Mr. Shimazoe and Mr. Hoang Dang Lam, enjoyed a delightful dinner gathering to strengthen their bonds.
